Why Celebrate Bootlegger’s Day?

Bootlegger’s Day, officially recognized in 2015 by the National Day Calendar and Infinium Spirits, honors the daring individuals who kept spirits flowing during the Prohibition era. January 17 is a fitting date, marking the birthdays of both infamous bootlegger Al Capone and Templeton Rye Whiskey.

At Fielding’s, we’re toasting this spirited holiday with a menu of carefully curated cocktails inspired by the era. Stay tuned as our talented bar team reveals a lineup that promises to transport you to the Prohibition days with every sip.

Our Coffee

We partner with Geva Coffee to bring you our own high quality coffee. They source only premium grade organic coffees for our Fielding's Organic Blend. The beans are then roasted to a medium-dark profile to achieve a bold, full bodied flavor while still having a sweet and smooth cup. The Diedrich Roaster at Geva roasts the coffee using an indirect burner that applies radiant heat to their roasting drum in an enclosed environment. The result of this heating method is a much cleaner, more controlled roast. Most other roasters use a direct heat on a rotating drum which can result in exposing the coffee to certain gases which can lead to the coffee tasting impure.

If you’ve never tried our french press coffee it is a must! You will fall in love! We also sell whole beans if you want to bring the rich bold aromatic flavors home with you.

Our Bacon

At Fielding’s we believe that if we can make it in house, we should! That’s why we cure our own bacon. We use a proprietary blend of spices to get the flavor tasting just how we want it. Then we smoke over pecan and oak woods. If you ever visit our other location Fielding’s Wood Grill you can see our bacon hanging in the bacon chamber.
