ABOUT OUR TURKEY

Ferndale Farms turkeys are raised on family farms in Minnesota using sustainable farming practices and without antibiotics or growthpromotants: 

  • Free-range: Turkeys are raised in spacious, free-range environments with access to fresh grass and clean air. In the summer, they are rotated to fresh pasture each week. 

  • Custom feed: Turkeys are fed a specialized feed made from fresh ground corn and soybean meal, enriched with vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and natural herbs. 

  • Naturally processed: Turkeys are processed naturally without additives at a USDA facility. 

  • Chemical nitrate free: Ferndale Farms turkeys are chemical nitrate free. 

  • Uncured: Ferndale Farms smoked products are uncured, which means no artificial nitrates or nitrites were used
